Not a whole lot happening. Back on our own server for the last few years. (Thanks to CMG.NET and On-the-net.com) Now the full source of the compiler and all libraries have been posted online. And X2c is now under Apache license. Moved mailing list to our server running mailmanWe have had some activity by people recreating the binaries on the latest Linux, and BSD builds. Hope to have new tar releases up before end of the year.

We have setup a list for X2c at OneList. You can find the archives and a link to subscribe at X2c mailing ListThere has been enough continuing interest in X2c that we are going to act as a reply point for those interested in creating an Open Source X2c compiler. If you are interested, subscribe to the mailing list and post questions there first. You can also send a message to x2c@on-the-net.com.
And make sure to check back here from time to time.
Support Policy
Basic answer: There is none.
X2c is a product that was developed over the last 10 years and has now been shelved because of changes in the database marketplace.
Because of this and our change in direction, we are no longer supporting X2c. What is being released is the bulk of the system as last frozen.
No requests are being accepted for help, documentation or different versions. What is available is what is on the web site, which might be changed from time to time.
No support is offered - PLEASE DO NOT CALL or EMAIL On-the-Net, you will not get any information about X2c nor will you get a call or answer back.
We do periodic minor work, include a CGI web interface. This is only being offered for Linux.
We are not accepting any support work, except at full consulting rates with no 'product level' guarantees - this includes email support.
If you really want something, send an email message, and check back on the web site periodically - but DO NOT expect an answer.
For Questions or Comments:Send email to x2c@on-the-net.com
