Portable Xbase Compiler
Dos
Download x2c-base and one compiler, place on floppies and run 'install' (Read below for details about install problem).
- x2c-base.zip: 911,927 Kbytes
- x2c-bc.zip: 700,649 Kbytes - Borland C/C++
- x2c-msc.zip: 670,664 Kbytes - MS C/C++
- x2c-tc.zip: 290,394 Kbytes - Turbo C
Install Problems
You need to expand those zip files using a recent version of Pkunzip -- the unzip in the installation set is version 1 zip file and the zip files that have problems are version 2.
You can also download the alternative DOS file set from the FTP site. There is a new set of DOS files in the 'dos' directory.
About DOS (Segmentation errors)
Since DOS has no segmentation errors, I assume you mean you are running under DOSEMU or Win 3.1/95 Dos box. And if so, maybe - that code was created a LONG time ago and only was tested under real DOS (no special memory any thing)
